Summer so far
Eve Sedgwick emphasizes the difference between knowing something and realizing it. These are perhaps things I’ve already known, but they’re quickly becoming things I’m realizing. SO!
1. Stay away from spending any significant energy discussing any sort of meme. The internet doesn’t need that; it needs the unexpected and the under-talked-about. You’re likely wasting your (and others’) time otherwise?
2. Content over eloquence almost always.
3. Stop fighting with people on the internet, especially with white men, who are the only people you seem to end up with in arguments. It’s exhausting and demoralizing and frustrating and why do you do it??? Your ego can handle this. They started it; you don’t have to join and you don’t have to end it.
